Vic Rainsford serves as Chief Financial Officer of Ignyte Insurance, where he oversees all aspects of financial strategy and operations for the company’s fast-growing global portfolio of specialty insurance brands.  

 

With more than 30 years of experience driving transformational results, Vic has a proven track record of acquiring, integrating and managing medium- and large-scale public and privately held organizations.  

 

At Ignyte, he leads a high-performing, multinational finance team spanning accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury and internal controls. A strategic partner to executive leadership, Vic provides timely insights and guidance to help fuel profitable growth and long-term value creation. He is also a key driver of Ignyte’s aggressive mergers and acquisitions strategy as the company continues to expand its footprint through the acquisition and integration of high-performing insurance brands around the world. 

 

With over $1B+ in premium under management, Ignyte’s platform spans a wide range of specialty programs — including travel medical, international student health, collector car, leased equipment and embedded insurance solutions — serving millions of customers across the U.S., U.K., Europe and Australia. 

 

Prior to joining Ignyte, Vic served as CFO of private equity-backed US Digestive Health, one of the largest gastroenterology platforms in the U.S., where he played a critical role in managing rapid growth across 40+ locations, 24 ambulatory surgery centers, 250+ GI providers and 1,300 employees. 

 

Vic holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
